I purchased a little painting 4 years ago, almost to the month, when I was living Ecuador. I totally love this painting, and when I got home I put it into this little frame and hung it up. The glass in the frame broke and so the painting has been in a box for almost 2 yerars now so it wouldn't get hurt. I really wanted to get it framed, so I just sucked it up and decided that it was worth the money to get a painting I loved framed nicely. I was right!! I totally love the frame I chose, and the matting the photo lady chose (I would never have chosen that bold of a color-but i love it now). I don't really have any place to hang it right now....but someday it will look great in my home.
The colors in this pic don't quite get the colors right-the matting and faces are more orange-y (they match perfectly)
Find out who you are and be that person. That's what your soul was put on this Earth to be. Find that truth, live that truth and everything else will come.

Meeka Mae
Meeka turned 14 in February, and yesterday I was home with her and mom and dad's new camera so I tried to take some cute pictures of her.

Easter & Sharon's 20th Birthday
This past Sunday, April 4, was Easter and my baby sister turned 20! When I say baby sister, I mean my 5'11" sister who is going to go to be living in England this time next year-so I use the term 'baby' very loosely, haha. So we had some family and close friends over and we had so much fun. I baked a cake...from scratch, which was adventure in itself since I am in no way a chef.

So hours of baking, 20lbs of carne asada and 8lbs of chicken all lead to one fun day at the Montgomery house. Here are some pics from the day:
